Record label: Green Noise

So I was checking out the Dirtnap site and it jumped to the Green Noise site, where I saw this band. And the description was kinda cool and it tickled me that this bad is probably named after a horrible country rock comp CD so I bought it next time I made a No Idea order. And that was a smart move, cos this is 4 neat tracks of garage punk from the Portland 2 piece – there’s no bassist, but they do enlist a harp player called Hamburger Chubbs on one song.

This band have a nice 50’s r’n’r vibe through most of it, buried under the usual 60’s influenced fuzz you’d expect. Its suitably catchy and dancey and would go down well at your house party and although my reference points here are limited, I think if you like the Gories you’ll probably like this too. Wish there was a lyric sheet though.
