Awesome! Every so often, something drops through the letterbox for review that I’m pretty chuffed about. This was one such thing. I have perhaps one other copy of Mild Peril floating around here somewhere and have always been meaning to pick more up but always been too absent minded or skint to get round to it. But what better treat than not only the new issue, but the fact it’s a beard special as well!

This issue has an awesome in-depth interview with Chris Murray (musical genius, all round lovely bloke, and proud wearer of a splendid goatee), Scottish ska-punkers The Hijacks (as far as I can tell from the pictures, partially bearded), and wicked pop-punk band The Murderburgers (reppin’ yet more chin fuzz here) among others.

There are tons of other articles, reviews and other things as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find a massive review of the Fest by Ollie who I shared a room with in the Holiday Inn. Well, I say review, it’s more like a list of the crazy stories he would come back with each morning after getting wasted and ending up in the most insane situations. Dude can party hard.

Also within the pages you’ll find a list of the stuff they sell in their distro, which is enviable in its size and quality, and is bloody cheap as well. This is without a doubt one of the best zines you could spend a quid on at the moment, keep it up Mild Peril!
