Last Hours review in Nude

January 31st, 2008 · post by Edd · Make a comment

Our friends at Nude magazine, who’s most recent issue is wonderful and should be bought by all, have written a very nice review of Last Hours in aforementioned new issue. Because we like to blow our own trumpet we’ve copied it below!

“Put together by Edd and Natalie, two of the nicest people in anarcho punk zine publishing, Last Hours has gone through an impressive revamp in the design department. But really, it’s the content that counts here, and this 116-page mag is packed full of articles, illustration, comic art and even a regular stencil template. Being sympathetic but not overly committed to the cause, I skipped the articles on eco and anti-G8 activism in favour of thought-provoking articles on ‘the changing face of US zines’, ‘the rise of punk house shows’ and an interview with anarchist illustrator Clifford Harper, whose work will be familiar to class warriors both past and present. “

You can check out the new issue of Nude at their website (www.nudemagazine.co.uk/), or at pretty much any decent newsagent/ bookstore in the land. It’s got a great article on Rollerderby and as always notes on the weird and wonderful that is low-brow culture.
