On July 20th 2009, workers from the Vesta wind turbine factory on the Isle of Wight occupied their factory in protest at the company’s decision to close the factory.

RNC arrestee, Dave Mahoney begins prison sentence

After his arrest at the Republican National Convention (RNC) protest last September, Dave Mahoney has began his 90 day prison sentence.
The Campaign to Support Dave Mahoney is requesting that people send Dave letters in an attempt to make his time in prison a little more bearable.

SOAS raids spark protest and occupation

Last Friday evening cleaners at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) where called for a meeting by their contractors ISS. Minutes after the meeting began the building was raided by 45-50 police officers in riot gear.

Land is reclaimed for London eco-village

Around 70 individuals have participated in reclaiming a plot of land in Kew Bridge, Brentford, London.
The plan is to use the site to demonstrate sustainable forms of living whilst running workshops over the next few months.
