Anti-WTO riots erupt in Geneva

An estimated 5000 people marched through the streets Geneva, Switzerland this Saturday. The protests taking place in opposition to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) taking place there, erupted into riots.

Somerset’s brand new squated social center ‘The Black Cat’ is celebrating with an official opening on the 20th and 21st November, 2009. Just outside the center of Bath, the occupants have been busy redecorating and preparing for all the use you would expect from a social center.

French police move in to clear Calais ‘jungle’

This morning French police moved into a migrant camp near Calais, France and began to clear it of everyone who’s home it had become. The camp was home to thousands of displaced people from around the globe including Iraq and Afghanistan.

BT building invaded as part of DSEi 09 week of protest
