Institute for Anarchist Studies

The Institute for Anarchist Studies (IAS) is a nonprofit foundation, which was founded in 1996 to support the development of anarchism by giving grants to radical writers and translators across the world. Joey Cape interview

Nate Powell

In March 2009 it was announced that Nate Powell had been nominated for the LA Times book prize, for his book Swallow me whole. It is the first time a comic has been nominated for the prize since Maus in 1992.
