This December the United Nations Climate Change Conference or COP15 will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark. Those organising the conference claim it aims to be a step towards the building of a ‘new global climate treaty’ in an attempt to tackle climate change.

Viva La Minga!

Why we don’t need the police

No Borders camp at Lesvos

At the end of August a No Borders camp was held on the Greek island of Lesvos. This personal account from the event offers an insight into the racist immigration policies that the camp was called against, and the failure of the camp to achieve any meaningful improvement for those migrants trapped on the island.

Children of December get ready for a new winter

Two Greek anarchists have written a short overview of the struggles that are continuing to engulf Greece in the summer after their December revolt. Exploring, in brief, the state’s counter-revolt and the continuing attacks on migrants and Thodoris Iliopoulos, it is an interesting account of the past few months. A more substantial piece will be appearing on Last Hours in the near future, and in Last Hours issue 18 after that.
