Me and Goliath

Lovely stuff here from this UK three piece and just the right soundtrack for the oncoming chilly nights and ever-decreasing daylight. Me and Goliath have previously released a demo and split 7″ but on this 10″ they’ve finally produced enough material for you to really get absorbed in.

Shadowplay #26

Cislo Dvacet-Sest, boasts the cover of the latest edition of long running Nottingham zine Shadowplay which I am guessing is 26 in some foreign tongue. Alex Lawson has been producing these A5 booklets for a fair while indeed and 26 is no small feat for a zine maker (coming from someone who has never got past 4 issues of any particular zine).

Viva La Minga!

This report on the opening demonstration of the Minga Social y Communitaria in Bogotá, Colombia by two activists from Brighton, UK, gives an insight into the ‘congresses’ going on around Columbia linking up indigenous peoples, workers and students across the country.
