Naked Punch – Issue 12

August 9th, 2009 · posted by Pete Willis · marked as: Reviews · Zine reviews

I picked this up at the Serpentine Gallery mainly because the cover boasted both an interview with anti-war stalwart Howard Zinn and some essays on the recent anarchist riots in Athens and that at a quid it was easily the cheapest piece of literature in the shop.

Last Hours website migration

August 8th, 2009 · posted by anon · marked as: Blogs · Last Hours blog

Good news! Last Hours has migrated from Punkyhosting across to Positive Internet. It doesn’t sound very interesting we know, but it means that we shouldn’t have an event like May, where the site was down for the whole month! It should also mean faster load times for people visiting the site. Stay tuned for the [...]

Anarchist bookfair poster

August 8th, 2009 · posted by Edd · marked as: Blogs · Hey Monkey Riot

I designed the poster for this year’s London anarchist bookfair. I didn’t really have a brief, so I decided on an invasion of the city, since I was drawing it in the run up to the G20 protests. Several months after drawing it I’m not really sure why there’s only eight people invading, but I [...]

The content, technically, I suppose is the standard domain of autobiographical comics. I was, to be honest, expecting a standard riff borrowed from Jeffrey Brown or James Kochalka so I was [...]

Badtown TV

August 3rd, 2009 · posted by jas · marked as: Other reviews · Reviews

Well, where to start with this? If I start by saying Jhon from Pickled Dick (…oops…Mike TV) takes a starring role in this brand new internet music and other general rubbish TV show, a lot of you will probably already be guessing it’s a shambles. And you’d be right. But it’s a glorious shambles.
As it [...]
