I’ve never come across any of Sina’s zines before but from the looks of it he’s been quite prevalent in the underground comics community. This particular publication harks back to the early days of Sina’s self publishing odyssey…

I love pizza! Even though it’s nowhere near International Pizza Punk Day I made masses of pizza for my birthday and here is the recipe. The recipe makes three large baking trays worth of vegan pizza, and is very tasty.

NoMeansNo

August 13th, 2009 · posted by Chris Walktall · marked as: Live reviews · Reviews

To cut a 30 year story short: NoMeansNo are amazing, have a small but devoted following and they are old. Witch Hunt

August 10th, 2009 · posted by Mikey · marked as: CD reviews · Reviews

It is a rare thing for a band in 2009 to remain contemporary and interesting yet also have a clear influence from the past 20 to 30 years of punk but Philadelphia’s Witch Hunt are just such a band. They’ve played together for several years now, releasing both EPs and albums to much acclaim, but [...]

Jaya The Cat

Another hideously early start to an evening at the Underworld, I arrived at 7.30 in time to catch most of Gecko’s set. Over the two weeks around Rebellion Festival, the venue has been putting on lots of punk shows one night after another. It’s a really cool idea, but I think this show was the [...]

Smokey Bastard

August 9th, 2009 · posted by Chris Walktall · marked as: CD reviews · Reviews

I must first confess to being massively biased towards Smokey Bastard, as due to a bizarre set of circumstances I toured briefly with them recently and had a bloody awesome time. I think the first thing any of them said to me was “Hi, would you like some beer? We’ve got this huge keg and we’ve got to finish it tonight”, so good times were inevitable.

Last Hours is preparing to release our first comix anthology this autumn, alongside another autumn surprise, both of which will be followed by Last Hours issue 18 in November!
