The Leif Ericsson/Southport

Southport and The Leif Ericsson have both been playing punk rock for atleast as long as I’ve been into the genre, and when i consider all the bands that have come and go in the as the years have gone by, it is encouraging to hear how vital they both manage to sound on this 7″.

Vestas occupation plan to stay for at least another week

At the hearing in Newport, on 29 July, the judge refused to grant Vestas a “possession order” for the occupied factory, and adjourned the case to 4 August.
This is the news that the workers currently occupying the factory’s offices have been waiting for.

Vegan Double chocolate chip muffins

When I first became vegan I used to make this recipe all the time as it gave me a massive chocolate rush when I didn’t like eating dark chocolate on its own and was pining for milk chocolate!

Folk The System

I may as well divulge that Folk The System play poppy folk-punk in the vein of Ghost Mice and many of their Plan-It-X contemporaries, but I’d stop drastically short of proclaiming this a simple imitation, because this CD is much, much more.
