The Peacocks

The Peacocks make me smile whenever I listen to them. Loosely they play psychobilly, but like every other decent psychobilly band they mix it up with everything else to produce something nothing short of magical!

Pilger

Pilger were an amazing punk rock band from Southampton. This interview was conducted at the Ryans Bar in London in the spring of 2004. The interview with Phil Chokeword, their singer, who also became a columnist in Rancid News/ Last Hours a few issues later!

Strike Anywhere (2004 interview)

Strike Anywhere are one of those odd bands who are intensely political without trying desperately to force weightless polemics down your throat. Their music is about their world and their life, they talk about it without granting it undue brevity, whilst at the same time refusing to co-opt it’s power.
